Dominique Tinguely grew up in Fribourg, Switzerland. She studied recorder and historical bassoon at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, graduating with diplomas in both subjects. She then pursued advanced studies in historical bassoon at the ESMUC in Barcelona and in music management at the HKB Bern. As a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician, she performs with ensembles and orchestras throughout Europe. She is a prizewinner of the Friedl-Wald Foundation and has been a studio guest on SWR 2's Treffpunkt Klassik extra program. She teaches recorder and historical bassoon at the Bern Conservatory and at various international courses. Together with Sabine Stoffer, she conducts the Youth Baroque Orchestra of the MKB Bern. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also paints and loves plants!
After studying modern violin in Bern, Sabine Stoffer continued her training in historical performance practice at the RWCMD. She is now a section leader with Les Passions de l'Ame, plays with Brecon Baroque, and with the orchestra Le Concert de la Loge, which also invites her as guest concertmaster. As Ensemble Otium, she and cellist Pierre-Augustin Lay invite highly esteemed colleagues for chamber music projects. Sabine also works as a teacher at the Bern Conservatory and as artistic director of the Kapellenkonzerte concert series. She is a prizewinner of the Kiefer Hablitzel Foundation and the Marianne and Curt Dienemann Foundation. She has been awarded the "Coup de Coeur" of the Canton of Bern and the title of Honorary Associate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In her free time, Sabine enjoys sewing, creating portfolios from beautiful paper, and harvesting her own vegetables.
Sarah Humphrys studied baroque oboe, recorder and shawm at the Royal College of Music in London, and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland. She enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teacher. Sarah performs throughout Europe with her chamber groups- Ensemble Meridiana, baroque chamber group, Fontanella, recorder quartet, and City Musick, renaissance wind band. She also records and plays regularly in venues all over the world with period instrument ensembles such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Early Opera Company, the Gabrieli Consort, the Sixteen, La Nuova Musica and Arcangelo. Sound tracks include Shrek 3 and Wolf Hall. Sarah has performed as a principal player and musical director at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre since 2003. Sarah also enjoys spending time with her family and her cats, aswell as swimming, gardening and eating cheese.
Tore Eketorp was born in Stockholm and studied viola da gamba with Keren Bruce Westerlund at the Kungliga Musikhögskolan in Stockholm. He completed postgraduate studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland with Paolo Pandolfo with distinction in 2009. During his studies he also took lessons in fiddle and medieval music with Randall Cook. His musical activities have taken Tore Eketorp to a wide variety of festivals and concert series in Europe, Asia, North America and South America. He has won prizes in several international competitions and has participated in many CD, television and radio recordings. In addition to his musical activities, he also works as an occupational therapist in hand rehabilitation in the Basel region.
Christian studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and later at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. He works as a harpsichordist and continuo player with Norway's leading orchestras and ensembles, primarily with Barokkanerne (Norwegian Baroque Ensemble), where he also serves on the artistic team. Christian has performed several times with Concerto Copenhagen and is a founding member of Ensemble Meridiana. In 2019, he obtained his PhD in artistic research from the Norwegian Academy of Music with the project Releasing the "Loudie" – harpsichord accompaniment in GF Handel's continuo cantatas. Christian received a three-year work grant from the Norwegian government for the period 2022-2024. When he's not making music, he's renovating his family's house outside Oslo.
Han-Na Lee was born in Seoul and received her first piano lessons at the age of four. She studied piano and harpsichord at various institutions, including the Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary in Seoul, the Korean National University of Arts, and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. In 2018, she completed her master class examination at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. As a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, she has performed at numerous concerts and festivals across Europe and Asia. She collaborates with renowned artists and ensembles and has won prizes in several international competitions. Since 2006, she has been working as an accompanist at various music academies, including the Music Academy Basel and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. In her free time, Han-Na Lee enjoys hiking and watching movies.
